Job Overview

  • We are looking for a proactive, organized and eager-to-learn Stores & Procurement Intern to support our stores and procurement functions while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming goods.
  • Support proper storage, organization and identification of stock.
  • Assist in issuing and recording materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate stores and inventory records.
  • Support stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of procurement documentation.
  • Support supplier communication and follow-up on orders and deliveries.
  • Assist with obtaining quotations and preparing procurement comparisons.
  • Support purchase order and delivery documentation processes.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying replenishment requirements.
  • Perform other stores and procurement duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supplies, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of procurement, inventory and stores management principles.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative.
