Interior Designer Intern assisting with interior design concepts, 2D drawings and 3D visualizations and supporting material selection and project documentation, requiring a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design software, in an engineering and design environment, on-site role.

Ashut Engineers Limited is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Interior Designer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in interior design, space planning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing interior design concepts and presentations.
  • Assist in producing 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
  • Support the selection of finishes, furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and other interior materials.
  • Help develop new products in our portfolio
  • Assist in preparing material schedules, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Support the design team in monitoring the implementation of design concepts on site.
  • Maintain organized project files, drawings, and design documentation.
  • Perform any other duties related to interior design as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a relevant qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and materials.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, Photoshop, or similar programs is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of measurements, drawings, and technical details.
  • Creative, innovative, and willing to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage tasks within set timelines.
