Qualifications

For appointment to this position a candidate must

  • Be a citizen of Kenya
  • Have served and proven experience in administration or management either in Public or private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years
  • Hold a Bachelors Degree from a University recognized in Kenya
  • Hold a post graduate qualification in Public Administration, Management, Economics, Urban Planning/Development, Sociology or its equivalent qualification
  • Be a member of a relevant professional association or body and in good standing
  • Be in possession of Leadership Course lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Demonstrate managerial, leadership and professional competence in work performance and results; and
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
