Qualifications

For appointment to this position a candidate must

  • Be a citizen of Kenya
  • Have served in the grade of Chief Physical Planner for a minimum period of three (3) years
  • Hold a Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a University recognized in Kenya
  • Be a corporate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter) and in good standing
  • Be registered by the Physical Planners Registration Board
  • Be in possession of a certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
