Legal Jobs. Sports Kenya Jobs. Legal Officer II. Drafting legal documents, reviewing contracts, and assisting in litigation management, requiring a Law Degree, LSK membership, and Advocate status.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing legal briefs for the initiation of legal action
  • Preparing and interpreting legal opinions and offering guidance on legal requirements
  • Maintaining and ensuring proper management of the records of the legal department are up to date and produce quarterly reports on the same
  • Preparation and filing of pleadings for and on behalf of the Board
  • Drafting and reviewing of legal instruments and policy documents on behalf of the Board
  • Drafting of contracts and MoUs; and
  • Undertaking legal research and assignments

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

  • Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized institution
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
  • Member of the Law Society of Kenya
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
